Dr. Jennifer M. Brown serves as the Career Coach and Proposal Director. Jennifer holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education, Minor: Psychology from North Carolina State University, a M.A. in Counselor Education, Concentration: College Student Personnel from North Carolina Central University, and a B.A. in Psychology, Concentration: Child Psychology from North Carolina State University. Dr. Brown is a National Certified Counselor with a long-standing career in academia. In addition to a longstanding teaching career in higher education, she has served in a variety of capacities in that same setting: as Director of the Student Success Center in Undergraduate Academic Affairs at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, as an Interim Director of Multicultural Student Affairs at North Carolina State University with the Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity, as Associate Athletic Director/ Senior Woman Administrator with the Department of Athletics at Western Carolina University, and Director of Academic Support Services for Student-Athletes at that same University.
