Brief info

Peggy Fox is Dominion Energy’s Media and Community Relations Manager in Northern Virginia. She brings a new, vibrant awareness to the company’s expansion of renewable energy, it's net-zero emissions goal and positive impact on its communities.

Peggy is host and producer of "Actions Speak Louder" a weekly TV program that highlight's Dominion Energy's projects and community support. It airs on Fairfax Public Access's Channel 10 and is posted on social media and Peggy’s YouTube Channel.

Peggy is a four-time Emmy winner who reported and anchored television newscasts in Washington D.C. from 1995 to 2019. As WUSA9'S Northern Virginia Bureau Chief, Peggy covered Virginia’s General Assembly and major news events over two decades, such as 9-11, the DC Sniper Shootings, the Virginia Tech Shootings, Inaugurations of Presidents George W. Bush, Obama and Trump. She received Emmys for breaking news, a story on a new lymph-node mapping breakthrough to fight breast cancer, an investigation into lead paint on playgrounds and for a series on her brother-in-law Ret, Captain Pat Horan who has a traumatic brain injury from being shot in the head while serving in Iraq. Peggy has received honors for her reporting on coverage of sexual abuse scandals and mental health awareness.

Peggy also worked as an anchor and reporter in Miami, Charlotte, and West Virginia. She resides in Fairfax County with her husband Tom Horan. The couple has two adult children. Peggy is a proud Virginia Tech Hokie.
