After earning a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech and an M.B.A. from George Washington University, founder and president Walter Barnes, III set his sights on helping Government agencies become more effective and efficient. Working as a consultant for BearingPoint, Booz Allen Hamilton, General Dynamics, and Director of Project Planning and Control at SRA International, Walter has over 17 years of experience in Federal Government consulting.  Walter brings this experience and knowledge to PMCG. Under Walter’s leadership, PMCG continues to grow, making a difference for its clients. Walter is also a passionate community leader serving as Chairman of the board for Power 52 Foundation, which is dedicated to developing workforce skills for at risk adults, returning citizens, and military veterans. He also sits on the board of the Capital Youth Empowerment Program (CYEP), which develops strong communities through nurturing family values.
